Pre-University Psychology is an immersive summer programme run by Bucksmore Education in Oxford for 15 68-year-olds. Over two- or four-week sessions students study university-level psychology content, develop critical thinking and academic writing skills, and engage with contemporary psychological research and theory.
The course covers topics such as development, social behaviour, trauma, therapies, ethics and research methods. Students follow a timetable of around 23 hours of tuition per week, including interactive workshops, research projects and guest lectures.
The programme blends academic study with cultural enrichment: weekly excursions (two full days and one half day), on-campus activities and visits to notable UK destinations are included to provide a broader university-style experience. Participants live on campus at St Hilda's College, University of Oxford, and are supported by trained Bucksmore staff throughout their stay.
Course fees are described as all-inclusive for the listed services; each participant receives a certificate of attendance and a letter of recommendation can be provided on request.

Fees from £3,195.00 (all-inclusive): course fees include airport transfers (for arrivals/departures on course start/end Tuesdays), insurance, meals, entrances to attractions, academic materials.
