Ready to level up your university applications? Join Dukes Plus Pre-University Summer School at Earlscliffe: two intensive weeks of hands-on tuition, personal statement and interview coaching, course shortlisting and study skills to boost your uni prospects and confidence.

The Dukes Plus Pre-University Summer School is an intensive two-week on-campus programme at Earlscliffe School designed for ambitious students aged 16-17 preparing university applications in the UK, US and beyond. The course focuses on practical application skills including shortlisting courses and universities, personal statement writing, interview technique, and developing independent study habits.

Participants receive 20 hours of academic tuition per week delivered through interactive seminars, expert-led workshops and practical sessions. The programme includes targeted support for Oxbridge applicants (entrance tests, interview preparation) and a guided tour of the University of Oxford to give insight into life at a top university.

Beyond academics, the summer school provides pastoral support with accommodation, meals and guardianship included, plus evening social activities to build confidence and peer networks. The programme aims to leave students better prepared and more competitive in their university applications.
