This one-week placement gives an insight into procurement, supply chain, warehousing and logistics within a busy hospital setting. It is a chance to see how goods, stock and services are supported across the Trust and how different teams work together behind the scenes.
This version of the placement is available to 16-18-year-olds and runs Monday to Friday, starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5pm, with lunch included. It is a practical introduction to the kind of non-clinical work that keeps a large healthcare organisation operating smoothly.
