Production Operative Apprentice - Fire Glass UK Ltd

Fire Glass UK is recruiting Production Operative Apprentices to join their Manchester site and gain a Level 2 apprenticeship in Lean Manufacturing Operative. Apprentices will learn on the job across the full production process, carrying out tasks such as glass handling, glass cutting, bespoke glass processes (painting, sandblasting), IGU manufacture, machine operation, quality control and maintaining traceability records.

Training is delivered on-site with the employer and provided by GLASS & FENESTRATION TRAINING SOLUTIONS LTD. The programme includes off-the-job training hours as part of your working week, regular assessor visits every 10-12 weeks and preparation for End Point Assessment.

The apprenticeship also includes a Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing and Glass Processing and a Level 2 NVQ.

This role is based at Fire Glass UK, Units C4/C5 Wardley Business Park, Fallons Road, Worsley, Manchester (M28 2NY). The apprenticeship starts 1 December 2025, is 1 year 1 month in duration and is paid (£15,704 for the first year).
