Fancy coaching at the World Cup? Join Projects Abroad in Guadalajara to lead training, run drills and organise a youth tournament. Build real coaching skills, learn tactics, nutrition and boost your CV - no prior experience needed.

Join Projects Abroad in Guadalajara to coach football to local children during the World Cup period and gain hands-on coaching experience. You will work alongside experienced coaches to lead training sessions, run drills, perform tactical analysis, referee matches, and organise a small tournament.

The placement combines on-pitch coaching with sporting workshops covering training methods, strategy, nutrition and match preparation.

This project is aimed at 15-18 year olds and requires no prior coaching experience. Participants will also experience World Cup atmosphere in city fan zones, tour the Estadio Akron (a World Cup 2026 host stadium), and take part in cultural activities such as salsa classes and weekend excursions.

Accommodation is in a comfortable hotel with three meals a day and supervised shared rooms with other Projects Abroad participants of a similar age.

You’ll receive full induction, 24-hour local support, project resources, and a certification on completion. The programme is designed to develop coaching ability, leadership, confidence, Spanish language skills, and cross-cultural understanding while contributing to the local community.
