The Psychologist Summer Experience

This is an in-person summer work-experience programme in London for students interested in psychology. Over immersive, practitioner-led sessions you will take part in simulated clinical consultations, educational psychology casework, forensic and sports psychology scenarios, a simulated in-patient mental health ward and professional site visits including UCL and Bethlem Royal Hospital.

The programme is designed to give practical skills, insight into different psychology specialisms and professional networking opportunities.

Students choose between a one-week taster, a full two-week experience, or a two-week Enhanced package which adds masterclasses, psychometric testing, a private gala networking dinner and year-long access to InvestIN’s virtual Career Accelerator. All students who complete the programme may take the post-programme assessment to receive a personalised digital certificate; two-week participants also receive a physical certificate and an industry reference letter.

Residential and day options are available. The programme is aimed at 15-18 year olds and includes safeguarding and pastoral care on-site; international students should meet the B2 CEFR English requirement.
