Want paid placements, a significant bursary and a fast-track into accounting? Join PwC’s Flying Start Financial Bursary at Queen Mary: secure up to £10,000 a year, gain paid PwC placements, build professional skills and boost your uni-to-career pathway.

The PwC Flying Start Financial Bursary provides financial support to students who join Queen Mary University of Londons BSc Accountancy (Flying Start) programme. Ten awards are available, with a total value of A310,000 per recipient paid across the four-year degree (A34,000 in year 1; A32,000 in years 2).

Years 2 4 involve paid placements with PwC as part of the Flying Start course.

To be considered you must be a home student, have applied for the BSc Accountancy (Flying Start) for September entry, and have a household income under A335,000 per annum as assessed by Student Finance England. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to a career in audit during PwC's assessment process and typically attend a non-fee-paying school; exceptions for those who previously received fee-paying school scholarships are reviewed case-by-case.

PwC will contact applicants for eligibility assessment after they have applied to the degree programme. The bursary is paid in addition to the Queen Mary Bursary (if eligible) and any Student Finance England funding.
