Apply NowReady to move beyond block coding? Join an online, beginner-friendly Python course that guides you through hands-on challenges — variables, loops, functions and drawing — so you can build real code, sharpen skills and boost your future options.
Spark4Kids' Python 4 Kids is a beginner-friendly coding course that introduces children to Python, a widely used programming language with a gentle learning curve. The course is aimed at young learners who want to progress beyond block-based coding and start working with text/keyword-based languages.
Attendees work through a structured set of coding challenges covering core Python concepts such as variables, if statements, loops, arrays, functions, arithmetic, and drawing. The teaching style is supportive and paced for children, with a tutor-to-child ratio of 1:6 so learners can work at their own speed while still getting help when they need it.
The course runs in weekly term-time sessions, and children can join after the term has started without missing the syllabus. A free taster session is available for families who want to try a class first, and Spark4Kids also notes that childcare vouchers, split payments, and instalment options may be available depending on the booking.
