Join Amey as a Quality Assurance Apprentice on the SBIM Severn Bridges contract, starting April 2026. You will be employed on-site across the specialist bridges (M5 Avonmouth Bridge, M4 Prince of Wales Bridge, M48 Severn Bridge) and earn a starting salary of £24,548 per annum.
The role enrols you on a Level 4 Quality Practitioner apprenticeship which takes approximately 17 months to complete and is delivered with a partnered training provider.
In this role you will support the Quality & Performance team by maintaining and improving quality management systems, assisting with audits (internal and external), managing non-conformities and root cause analysis, and helping to monitor contract performance using collaborative metrics. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders including National Highways, ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and NEC4-related processes, and contribute to continuous improvement activities across the contract.
Amey requires GCSEs in Maths and English (grade C/4 or above), a full UK driving licence and a DBS check. Applicants must be 18+ and will undergo random drug and alcohol testing. Applicants should upload relevant certificates or predicted grades with their application.
