Visitors can meet staff and students and find out more about the work carried out in the lab. The open day gives people the chance to see the wave tank in action and learn how it supports research into renewable technologies.
Guests can also get close to a range of local marine and freshwater life, including starfish, terrapins and lion fish. The event aims to build understanding of local marine habitats and encourage people to think about how they can help conserve them.
