Work with live market data on a two-week finance programme, analysing asset prices, valuation, risk and investment banking through case workshops and industry sessions. Build a research project, investment memo and final pitch, then defend your ideas to tutors and peers.

Investment Banking & Global Finance is a two-week summer programme that teaches students how to think like analysts rather than memorizers of definitions. It focuses on financial systems, investment logic and the economics of power, using live market data, case studies and structured feedback to build judgement under uncertainty.

Across the programme, students study how markets work, how macroeconomic forces move asset prices, how valuation is built, and how risk and return shape portfolio decisions. The second week moves into investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, FinTech and the ethical questions facing modern finance professionals.

Teaching is highly practical: morning seminars, afternoon case workshops and evening sessions with industry speakers and institutional visits. Every student also develops a research project throughout the two weeks, culminating in a formal submission and an assessed award, alongside an investment memo and final pitch presentation that are challenged by tutors and peers.
