Quintus Scholars’ Psychology & The Human Mind is a two-week summer school for ages 13-18 that explores cognitive science, behavioural research, and the psychology of decision-making. The course is built for students who want to understand how psychological science works in practice, with a strong emphasis on evidence, analysis, and argument rather than passive content delivery.
Across the programme, students study cognition, perception, social behaviour, emotion, motivation, developmental psychology, research methodology, clinical psychology, neuroscience, and applied behavioural science. Teaching combines research seminars, workshops, and evening activities, and students are expected to design and run a short experiment, analyse data, and develop a research question of their own.
By the end of the programme, each student produces a completed research project and delivers a final presentation. The work can form the basis of a formal regulated award, giving participants a tangible academic outcome to reference in future study and university applications.
The programme also offers direct tutor feedback and personal coaching throughout.
