Apply NowFancy a taste of conservatoire life? Join Rambert School's three-day Easter taster to train with faculty, alumni and guest artists-build ballet and contemporary skills, explore repertoire and improv, and strengthen your portfolio for conservatoire or university applications.
The Rambert School Taster Course models the timetable of the full-time FD/BA Hons degree programme and runs over three days during the Easter holidays. The programme runs 09:00-17:00 each day and comprises classes in Ballet, Pointe & Virtuosity, Contemporary, Improvisation, Creative, Enrichment and Repertoire (both Ballet and Contemporary).
Students learn from Rambert School faculty, alumni and guest artists and gain first-hand experience of conservatoire-style training.
Delivered at Rambert School's purpose-built facilities in Southwest London, the course is designed to develop technical skills, musicality, creativity and versatility while encouraging individual physical exploration and expression. It is aimed at aspiring young dancers preparing for professional training and auditions and will provide intensive practical training to support audition readiness.
The course is suitable for applicants aged 14-21 (or UK Year 10 and above). It is not residential; participants should arrange their own travel and accommodation. Applications are accepted from UK and international students (subject to UK travel regulations).
