Ratcliffe College offers a wide range of scholarships to recognise academic, sporting, musical, dramatic and artistic talent for its senior school. Scholarships are available for students entering Year 7 and Year 12.

As scholars, students receive additional support in their subject field and a fee remission typically between 5% and 20%. Scholarships awarded in Year 7 are usually retained until the end of Year 11; those awarded in Year 12 normally last for two years and are subject to annual review.

Bursaries are intended to help children from low-income families access a Ratcliffe education and can cover up to 100% of school fees. Bursary awards are means-tested and available for those entering Year 7 or Year 12.

The College notes that students and families must be in sympathy with its Catholic, Rosminian ethos and that bursary recipients are expected to contribute actively to school life.

The page also describes the Sir Thomas White Scholarship for Year 12 applicants, a Leicester-based charity that may fund a 100% Day Fee bursary for one academically gifted student who meets specific geographic, school and household income criteria. Applications for 2026 entry are open and must meet the stated deadline.
