North Acton Guerrilla Gardeners

North Acton Guerrilla Gardeners is a community volunteering project that helps transform neglected public spaces through practical, visible action. Volunteers take part in litter picking, planting, watering, weeding and general gardening to improve the look and feel of local outdoor spaces.

The project focuses on North Acton Square, Old Park Royal and Old Oak, with regular sessions held during the week. It aims to keep these spaces welcoming and usable for local residents by maintaining planters, clearing rubbish and supporting the wider environment.

The project also brings people together and helps build connections between volunteers, residents, local businesses and council teams.

It is a flexible volunteering opportunity, with people welcome to help for as little or as long as they wish. No previous experience is needed, and tools plus refreshments are provided, making it an accessible way to get involved in a practical community project.
