Help maintain a nature reserve through hands-on conservation tasks that change with the seasons. Clear pathways, manage reed beds, take part in coppicing and maintain boardwalks and bird hides at the Welsh Wildlife Centre.

As a Reserves Assistant, you would help with tasks connected to the nature reserve, with work varying according to the season and conditions on site. The examples given include boardwalk and bird hide maintenance, reed bed management, pathway clearance and coppicing.

This role is well suited to someone interested in practical conservation and hands-on environmental work. It offers the chance to support the management of wildlife habitats at the Welsh Wildlife Centre and gain experience in reserve maintenance within a real conservation setting.
