This online workshop focuses on using the bow to create a strong, tight sense of rhythm in traditional music. Participants will explore tempo, momentum, drive, and practical techniques for improving control over the bow arm, wrist, grip, and rhythmic precision.
The class is designed for fiddles and other string players at intermediate and advanced levels. It is delivered online and taught by Winifred Horan, with a combination of live participation and a recording sent to registered students afterwards, so learners can revisit the material even if they cannot attend in real time.
