Spend four half-day sessions observing how a busy law firm handles client appointments, legal files and daily processes. Ask questions and engage with qualified professionals, with possible time in family law, wills and probate, or conveyancing, at the Lincoln City Centre office.

Closes 28 February 2027

Ringrose Law’s A level work experience placement offers students an authentic insight into life at a busy, full-service law firm. It is designed for those studying A levels or an equivalent qualification who want to explore what working in law is really like while building an understanding of different legal fields.

Most of the placement is observational, but participants are actively encouraged to ask questions and engage with qualified professionals across the firm. You may spend time one-to-one with different departments, observe client appointments where appropriate, and see how legal files and processes are handled day to day.

The areas covered can vary depending on availability, with possible experience in personal injury, administration, children law, discrimination, wills and probate, conveyancing, and family law.

The placement takes place at Ringrose Law’s Lincoln City Centre office and runs over four half-day sessions during February and October half-term breaks. The scheme is competitive, with only a small number of places available in each intake, and applicants are selected following an online application and virtual interview process.
