Join Lloyds Banking Group as a Risk Apprentice and learn how to identify and reduce risks across a major digital bank. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job: you will support colleagues to apply legal and regulatory frameworks, spot and mitigate potential risks, produce clear evidence-based reports, and communicate risk-related information in accessible ways.
The role is based at 25 Gresham Street, London (EC2V 7HN) and involves a 35-hour working week.
The apprenticeship lasts two years and includes specialist training delivered by Kaplan Financial Limited, working towards the Level 3 Compliance and Risk Officer apprenticeship standard. You will rotate through projects covering areas such as fraud prevention and regulatory compliance and develop skills in analytical thinking, record management, and stakeholder communication.
The apprenticeship combines classroom learning with practical experience and includes employer benefits such as pension contributions and a performance-related bonus.
Essential entry requirements include GCSEs at grades 4-9 (including English and Maths). The employer operates a Disability Confident scheme and may offer interviews to applicants with disabilities or long-term health conditions who meet the essential requirements.
