Work alongside staff and blind and partially sighted people to shape campaigns that encourage positive behaviour change. Review messages, suggest practical improvements and help co-design more accessible materials in a flexible, home-based role that usually takes around two hours a month.
RNIB is looking for sighted volunteers to join its Social Action Audience Panel and help shape communications that encourage positive behaviour change. Working alongside RNIB staff and blind and partially sighted community members, volunteers bring their own perspective on how messages may be received by the wider public.
The role involves sharing ideas on how to make campaigns and resources clearer, more relevant and more engaging. Volunteers may help co-design and co-produce materials, review communications, and suggest practical improvements to messages, campaign content and guidance so that they are more accessible and effective.
This is a flexible, home-based volunteering opportunity that usually takes around two hours a month. Contact can be by email, phone or online meeting, and support is available to help people take part.
RNIB welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds and does not require previous experience or knowledge of sight loss.
Free to take part.
