Join an online discussion with LGBTQ+ professionals, students and allies across aerospace, aviation and STEM. Explore challenges, belonging and how workplaces can become more welcoming and supportive, while hearing about LGBTQ+ people’s contributions across science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The Royal Aeronautical Society’s LGBTQ+ in STEM event is an annual online celebration bringing together professionals, students, and allies from across aerospace, aviation, and the wider STEM community. It offers a space to recognise the achievements, contributions, and experiences of LGBTQ+ people working in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The session is designed as an engaging discussion that explores both the challenges and the opportunities facing LGBTQ+ professionals. Attendees can expect to hear perspectives on inclusion, belonging, and the ways workplaces and industries can become more welcoming and supportive.
It is open to both members and non-members, and is relevant whether you are already working in STEM, studying, or thinking about a future career in the sector. The event aims to celebrate diversity and highlight the positive impact LGBTQ+ professionals have across STEM.
