Hear Skunk Works’ Vice President and General Manager Ron Fehlen outline his vision for its future and links to strategic initiatives and partnerships with UK and NATO allies, including advances in technology and their impact on security and the future of allied forces.

The Royal Aeronautical Society’s Sopwith Named Lecture is an annual lecture established in 1990 to honour Sir Thomas Sopwith CBE, Hon FRAeS. It brings together an audience interested in aviation, aerospace and space, and is designed to share knowledge, stimulate discussion and highlight developments across the sector.

For 2026, the lecture will be presented by Ron Fehlen, Vice President and General Manager at Skunk Works®. He will share his vision for the future of Skunk Works and explain how it connects with strategic initiatives and partnerships with UK and NATO allies.

The event offers a chance to hear directly from a senior leader at a global aerospace and defence innovation company about advances in technology and their wider impact on security and the future of allied forces.
