Royal Fireworks Press is offering a new three-day online workshop, The Making of Modern Fashion, through Royal Fireworks Online Learning. The workshop explores how fashion is shaped by culture, history, art, and innovation, using the work of three influential designers: Rei Kawakubo, Vivienne Westwood, and Shawn Stüssy.
Designed for students ages 12-18, this is a low-cost, low-commitment opportunity to explore one of the world’s most creative industries. It is aimed at young people who are curious about fashion, design, and the cultural ideas behind modern style, and it may also appeal to students interested in art, history, and creative expression.
The class meets Tuesday to Thursday at 6:00 p. m. Eastern Time, with dates listed as August 11-13, 2026.
Participants will learn how these designers transformed the fashion world and how their influence continues to shape today’s trends. The workshop offers an accessible way to gain insight into fashion history and the wider creative industries.
