Shortlisted pupils from local schools deliver 15-minute talks on geographical topics they’ve chosen themselves, spanning human, physical and environmental geography. Explore ideas from weather and climate to migration, economies and social impacts, in an evening chaired by Tim O’Riordan OBE.
Join the Royal Geographical Society for an evening of Norwich and Norfolk school microlectures, where shortlisted pupils from local schools deliver short talks on topics they have chosen themselves. Each presentation lasts around 15 minutes and explores a wide range of geographical issues, bringing together human, physical and environmental geography in one event.
The evening offers an opportunity to hear young presenters speak about the global questions that interest them most, from weather and climate to migration, economies and social impacts. It is chaired by Tim O’Riordan OBE, Emeritus Professor at UEA, and facilitated by Dr Anthony Speca from Norwich School.
The event is held in Norwich and is open to all, making it a chance to support young geographers and enjoy a varied programme of ideas and perspectives.
