Join Royal Museums Greenwich’s Youth Collective for free, drop-in workshops held every month. The series is designed for young people aged 13 to 25 and brings together themes around the museums’ collections, mental wellbeing, careers and creativity.
It is a low-commitment way to try something new, meet other young people, and stay connected with the museum without signing up for a long-term project. The programme is varied and activity-led. Upcoming sessions include a collage workshop with artist Sharon Walters, a late-opening event called Astronomers Take Over, a wellbeing walk in Greenwich Park, and a Saturday Art Club taster session.
The workshops are intended to reflect a wide range of interests, experiences and learning styles, and booking links are provided for each event on the page. Sessions are relaxed and accessible. Participants can make noise, move around, and take breaks when needed, and you’re welcome to attend with a support worker, carer, or companion.
Workshops take place at Royal Museums Greenwich sites including the National Maritime Museum, Queen’s House, and Greenwich Park.
