This is a Level 4 Intelligence Analyst apprenticeship with the Royal Navy based at Navy Command HQ, The Admiral Sir Henry Leach Building, Portsmouth (PO2 8BY). As an Intelligence Analyst apprentice you will gather, interpret and present mission-critical information to support operational decision making.
Duties include using specialist equipment, producing written reports and verbal briefings for senior officers, identifying information gaps and recommending collection activities, and working with digital tools and analytical techniques while handling sensitive and classified material in line with legislative responsibilities.
The role is primarily workplace-based learning combined with specialist training provided by the Royal Navy. The apprenticeship lasts 1 year 6 months, starts on 2 June 2026 and recruits 20 positions. Working hours are 40 hours a week with shifts to be confirmed.
