RTÉ This is Art! is Ireland’s annual art competition for young people, inviting entries around a different theme each year. The 2026 edition is built around the theme “This is Us!
”, and participants are encouraged to submit their artwork through the competition entry page. The competition is judged by a professional jury made up of artists, educators, and curators. Alongside selecting winners, the panel also provides personalised feedback to 100 highly commended artists, giving entrants constructive advice and recognition for their work.
It is a national creative opportunity for young artists to share their ideas and develop their practice.
