A hands-on, in-person workshop run with staff from College Student Advisory Services to guide attendees through their SAAS (Student Awards Agency Scotland) funding application. The session is designed to help you complete your funding paperwork correctly so funding is in place for the start of term.
The workshop is targeted at people planning to study an HNC level course or above from August 2026. Attendees should bring required documentation and details including SAAS account number (if applicable), National Insurance number, bank account details for loans or bursaries, the name of the college/university and course title for August 2026, birth district, and (if applying for a loan) two loan contact details at different addresses.
If household income is under £34,000, bring parents'/step-parent's/partner's income details for tax year 24-25.
Location
- Intended for people planning to study an HNC level course or above from August 2026
- Bring SAAS Account Number (if you have previously applied to SAAS)
- Bring National Insurance Number
- Bring bank account details (sort code & account number) if applying for a student loan or bursary
- Bring the name of your College/University and the course title you will be studying in August 2026
- Bring birth district (as shown on your Birth Certificate)
- If applying for a student loan, provide two loan contact details who reside at different addresses
- If household income is less than £34,000, bring details of parents'/step-parent's/partner's income for tax year 24-25
