Safran Electronics & Defense’s Wolverhampton work experience placement in business gives Year 10 and sixth form students the chance to spend a week in a professional aerospace environment. The programme is designed for students who want to understand how a global business operates and to explore a range of career options before entering the world of work.
During the placement, students discover how different business functions support the company, with exposure to areas such as Finance, Supply Chain and Operations. Activities include interactive tasks, group exercises and a CV workshop, helping participants build communication, teamwork, problem-solving and employability skills.
Students also meet Safran employees, hear about their career journeys and gain an insight into the variety of roles available within the organisation.
