Sandwell Council’s work experience scheme offers young people the chance to apply for a placement within the council’s wider work experience programme. It is designed for applicants who live or study in Sandwell and includes a route for students in school or sixth form, as well as a separate route for young people who are NEET, in college, training, or at university.

Applicants are asked to download the relevant form, complete it, and return it either by email or to Sandwell Council House in Oldbury. Placements are not guaranteed; applicants will be notified if a suitable placement becomes available.

The scheme is aimed at helping young people gain practical workplace experience and explore future opportunities in a local authority setting.
