Ready Steady Go is a WAGGGS World Centres service programme at Our Chalet in Adelboden, Switzerland. Participants help prepare the site for the busy summer season by deep cleaning outbuildings and the campsite after winter closure and preparing the grounds.
Our Chalet’s team run evening programmes and a one-day programme for participants, and there is a free day for participants to arrange their own activities. The 2026 event dates are 2 May 2026 to 10 May 2026.
The programme is suitable for individuals and small groups aged 18 and above. Participants must be active members of WAGGGS and physically capable of undertaking manual work; limited places may be available for those who cannot undertake strenuous tasks if indicated on the application.
A small participation fee applies (prices starting from CHF 200). All indoor accommodation, meals, equipment, programme activities and luggage transfer are included in the fee. Travel is not included and travel scholarships are not available.
Scholarships for the participation fee are available for those who cannot afford the cost.

- A limited number of places are available for those unable to undertake physically demanding work; this must be made clear on the application

Prices starting from CHF 200. All indoor accommodation, meals, equipment, programme, and luggage transfer are included. A small fee is charged to help cover the cost of the service programme; scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the fee. Travel scholarships are not available; participants must fund their own travel.
