Fancy starting a hands-on finance career straight after school? Join S&W’s Audit & Assurance School Leaver Programme in Newcastle (Sept 2026), work with client finance teams on site and in the office, build audit skills across sectors and gain employer-supported qualifications.

Join S&W’s Audit & Assurance team in Newcastle as part of the School Leaver Programme starting September 2026. You will work directly with client finance teams across a variety of businesses, alternating between client sites and the S&W office.

Audits follow a cycle of Planning, Fieldwork and Completion; engagement lengths vary by client, giving you exposure to a wide range of sectors and real-world audit experience.

Alongside your day-to-day client work you will receive employer-supported, classroom and workplace training to complete the ACA (level 7) qualification. You will be part of a cohort with a buddy and dedicated Learning & Development support, gaining technical accountancy knowledge, software skills and advisory experience while being paid a competitive salary and receiving employee benefits.

To apply you must meet academic entry requirements (112 UCAS points from top three A-levels and Grade 5 in GCSE English and Maths) and be committed to the ACA programme. The role is full-time and based in Newcastle (Queens Lane).
