Welcome customers, receive donations, sort stock and build eye-catching displays in a charity shop. Get full training and ongoing support, with chances to train on the till or take on a Key Volunteer role, opening, running and closing the shop.

Closes 1 December 2026

Sense is recruiting Shop Volunteers for its Kingswinford shop. This voluntary role supports a leading disability charity that works with disabled people with complex needs, helping create a more inclusive world through community-based support and connection.

As a shop volunteer, you could welcome and assist customers, receive donations from the public, sort and prepare stock, help create eye-catching displays, keep the shop floor clean and tidy, and talk to customers about Sense’s work. Volunteers receive full training and ongoing support, with opportunities to build confidence and develop new skills.

You may also be able to train as a till user or progress into a Key Volunteer role, which includes opening, running and closing the shop when needed.
