Sort donated items, build eye-catching displays and welcome customers in a hands-on shop role supporting a charity’s work with disabled people with complex needs. Join a friendly team, get ongoing training and learn to use the till.
Sense is looking for volunteers to support its charity shop in Nuneaton. The role is part of a wider mission to support disabled people with complex needs, helping create more inclusive communities through everyday actions in the shop.
As a Shop Volunteer, you could be sorting and preparing donated items, creating attractive displays, helping keep the shop floor clean and tidy, welcoming customers, and talking to people about Sense’s work. It is a varied, hands-on role in a friendly team where volunteers and staff support one another.
The opportunity also offers training and ongoing support, with the chance to learn new skills such as using the till or progressing into a key volunteer role. Sense says it values every volunteer’s contribution, and the role may suit people who are calm, kind, enthusiastic, respectful and keen to work as part of a team.
