This is a Level 3 Service Technician apprenticeship with Simon Bailes Peugeot in Stockton-on-Tees, offered in partnership with training provider CALEX UK LTD. The apprenticeship starts on 15 January 2026 and lasts for 3 years, leading to a nationally recognised motor vehicle service and maintenance technician qualification (light vehicle).
The role is based at the Church Road workshop in Stockton-On-Tees (TS18 1TH) and is intended to develop a long-term career within the Stellantis dealer network.
Most of the apprenticeship is spent working on the job with hands-on experience in vehicle servicing, repair and diagnostics. Typical duties include carrying out service checks, repairing and replacing parts, using diagnostic equipment, maintaining workshop records and advising service reception.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm (40 hours per week). Apprentices attend week-long block training at a Training Centre in Coventry complemented by virtual classroom sessions, coaching visits and e-learning.
The advertised wage is £15,704 for the first year (may increase depending on age) and apprentices are paid at the National Minimum Wage apprenticeship rate where applicable. Essential requirements are GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4).
