Service Technician Apprenticeship - Vertu Peugeot Derby

This Level 3 Service Technician apprenticeship with Vertu Peugeot Derby offers on-the-job training to become a proficient automotive service technician. You will work day-to-day in the dealership workshop carrying out routine maintenance, assisting senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs, using diagnostic tools, documenting work and communicating with customers.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:30-17:30) and is based at the Derby dealership (Sir Frank Whittle Road, DE21 4RX).

Training is delivered in partnership with CALEX UK LTD. The programme runs for at least 36 months and combines block week training at a training centre in Coventry with workplace coaching, virtual classroom sessions and e-learning.

On completion you will achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification recognised across the motor industry. Apprentices must hold a certificate meeting the EU 2014 F-gas regulation before the Standard is met.

The apprenticeship pays £15,704 in the first year (may increase by age and to meet National Minimum Wage apprentice rates). The vacancy starts on 17 November 2025 and offers career progression opportunities across the dealer network on successful completion.
