SETU Try Culinary 2026 is a one-day taster event for students who are considering a future in culinary and food. It is designed for fifth year, sixth year and transition year students who want to experience what studying culinary courses at higher education level is like and learn more about routes into the sector.
During the event, participants will take part in hands-on activities including Food Sensory, a hot kitchen demonstration and a patisserie workshop. They will also have the chance to meet expert staff and speak with current students about course life, the department and career opportunities after graduation.
Lunch is included, and the event is intended to help students build confidence in their CAO choice.
