Want to make a real difference for nature? Join rangers to restore habitats, gain practical conservation skills, meet other nature-minded young people and spend a rewarding day outdoors—practical, educational and great for your uni or job applications.

South Downs Youth Action is a volunteering opportunity for young people who want to make a difference in the South Downs National Park. This August session at Seven Sisters focuses on nature recovery and habitat management, supporting the Rangers with important landscape conservation work.

Participants can expect a day of practical, outdoor activity alongside other like-minded young people who care about nature and the environment. The event is designed to be fun as well as educational, with a chance to meet new people while contributing to conservation work in a striking coastal setting.

The session is free to attend, but booking is required. Participants should meet at the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre, with activities taking place in the country park. Attendees are asked to bring lunch and wear appropriate footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.

Travel costs may be helped with.
