Sew Dandelions
Apply NowFancy making your own wearable art? Join Sew Dandelions' hands-on embroidery, felting and paper-art workshops—beginner-friendly, taught by pro instructors, with materials provided. Build creative skills, finish pieces to take home, and connect in small, supportive classes.
Sew Dandelions runs a range of hands-on specialty workshops in embroidery, felting, collage, upholstery and paper art. Sessions are taught by named instructors (for example, Dana Lyons of GlamourGoth Art, Dominique, Amy, and Maasa) and are designed to be beginner-friendly; materials and tools are provided and participants take home their finished pieces.
Class formats range from single one-hour drop-in workshops to multi-session courses, with small group sizes to maximise one-on-one instruction. Workshops explicitly state age guidance: many adult sessions are for age 17+, there is a kids' Embroidery 101 course for ages 7–14, and Felting 101 is open to ages 8+ as well as adults.
Booking is via the online scheduler links provided on the page. Seating is limited, and the studio notes cancellation and refund rules (partial refund for cancellations 72+ hours in advance; no refunds within 72 hours).
The space includes a parlor, kid-sized furniture for certain sessions, and an equipped studio environment.
