A&O Shearman Law Application Masterclass

A&O Shearman’s Law Application Masterclass is an in-person event designed to support students who are considering a legal career, with a particular focus on solicitor apprenticeships and the law application process. The day includes an introduction to A&O Shearman, a solicitor apprenticeships session, guidance on applications, and an apprenticeship panel to give students practical insight into routes into law.

The agenda also includes opportunities to network with the team, take part in an application workshop, and hear the next steps for those interested in progressing further. It is aimed at Year 13, S6 and final year college students, and applicants must meet the academic criteria stated by the organiser, although extenuating circumstances may be considered.

Travel expenses of up to £100 are covered, and there are limited places available. Students register through their Uptree account, with priority given to those who meet the listed criteria. Successful applicants are usually contacted shortly before the event.
