Barnshaws Bending Centre Ltd is recruiting a Sheet Metal Fabricator Apprentice to work as a Trainee Machine Fabricator. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job learning in a factory environment, working alongside skilled operators to learn processes such as plate rolling, press braking, ring rolling and tube bending.
The role is based at Unit 2, Corporation Road, Audenshaw, Manchester (M34 5LR) and there is one position available.
The apprenticeship starts on Monday 8 December 2025, runs for approximately 3 years 6 months and is delivered as an Advanced Level Apprenticeship leading to a Level 3 qualification in metal fabrication. Working hours are Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-13:00 (40 hours per week).
Training and support will be provided by THE GROWTH COMPANY LIMITED to help you achieve the apprenticeship.
Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in English, Mathematics and Science (grade A*-C / 9-4). Applicants should demonstrate communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, punctuality and an interest in fabrication.
