SIAL.courses
Apply NowSIAL. courses runs a series of four interactive workshops titled "The Days of the 'Madri Costituenti'" that explore the women who helped shape Italy's Constitution and their role in post-war Italian society.
Developed with the Italian Cultural Institute in London and the Camera dei Deputati, the programme combines history, civic education and cultural reflection and is facilitated by a native Italian teacher to support language and cultural learning. Workshops include presentations, readings of key texts, listening to selected podcasts, guided discussions and activities designed to bring historical material to life.
Sessions are targeted at students preparing for Italian A-Level and young people aged 16+, and are intended to support classroom study and deepen understanding of civic participation and gender in modern Italy. All four workshops take place on Sunday mornings in March 2026 at SIAL.
