Research local issues, draft press releases and help answer constituents’ queries during a placement offering insight into local politics. Depending on your age and ability, you may also assist with casework or accompany the MP to meetings and events in the House or constituency.
Sir Edward Leigh MP offers work experience opportunities for students from his constituency. The placement is designed to give young people an insight into local politics while helping them build useful skills for future study and work.
