Want to dive into hands‑on STEM without the cost? Grab a fully funded bursary place on Smallpeice Trust courses — residential options include accommodation, meals, practical projects and socials. Apply early to access expert tuition, real labs and uni/career-boosting experience.

Smallpeice Trust offers fully funded bursary places on its paid youth courses to help make STEM programmes accessible to more young people. These places are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis through the Trust’s bursary scheme and partner support.

The funded places are designed to remove the cost of the course itself for eligible applicants. Residential courses include accommodation, meals, academic sessions, practical activities, and social activities.

Virtual courses include any kit needed to take part, alongside the learning sessions, practical activities, and talks from industry experts. Applicants must meet one of the listed eligibility criteria, such as receiving free school meals, being in a household receiving Universal Credit, being a young carer, having care experience, being part of a travelling family, or living in a deprived area.

Independent school students are only eligible if they can also provide evidence of a full bursary for school fees. To apply, students should email evidence of eligibility and the course they are interested in to the Trust.
