Help keep charity shops across Oxfordshire running, choosing a commitment from four hours to four days a week. You’ll complete an application process and identity checks, including a DBS check, before starting; support is available with forms or alternative formats.
Sobell House is looking for volunteers to help keep its shops up and running across Oxfordshire. This is a flexible volunteering role, and the charity says that whether you can spare four hours or four days a week, your time will make a real difference to its work.
The role is open to people who are over the compulsory school leaving age, and applicants need to be able to provide proof of their right to volunteer in the UK. You will also need to give details of at least one referee and complete the charity’s volunteer application process.
The application involves several forms, including a Volunteer Application, Volunteer Agreement, Safeguarding Code of Conduct, Adjustment Passport if needed, and a Diversity Monitoring Form. Sobell House also explains that volunteers will need to go through identity checks, including a DBS check, before starting.
Support is available if you need help completing the form or need it in a different format.
