The Social Housing Scholarships programme, led by Clarion Futures in partnership with Blackbullion and several housing associations, provides financial and practical support to undergraduate students connected to social housing. The fund offers a total of £18,000 across the undergraduate degree, delivered as £6,000 per year to support daily living costs and study materials.
Scholars also gain mentoring, group development sessions, networking events, volunteering opportunities, and at least one paid summer internship with a housing association or partner organisation to build practical experience and professional networks. The programme is open to residents of social housing in England who pay domestic UK tuition fees and who hold a confirmed place to start or continue an undergraduate degree in September 2026.
Academic grades are not the primary selection criteria; applicants are assessed on motivation, potential and commitment. Applications open 24 April 2026 and close 5 July 2026 (midnight). To apply you must register on the Blackbullion platform; for more information contact SHSP@clarionhg.
