Ashurst's Solicitor Apprenticeship is a structured, full-time route to qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales aimed at school leavers. Apprentices will work at Ashurst's London offices while studying part-time with The University of Law one day per week.

The programme combines on-the-job legal experience across departments with formal legal study and assessments.

The apprenticeship typically lasts around six years and includes completion of an LLB (Hons) and the SQE1 and SQE2 exams; these academic costs are paid in full. Day-to-day responsibilities include document and file management, drafting correspondence, assisting fee earners with supervised legal tasks, legal research, and administrative duties, with increasing responsibility as apprentices progress.
