Want to make real change for refugees? Join SolidariTee Aberdeen to fundraise, campaign and lead—build advocacy, fundraising and leadership skills, connect with grassroots groups and boost your uni/career profile while driving practical support for people forced to flee

SolidariTee is a student-led international charity working to improve the treatment of people forced to flee their homes. Volunteers support awareness-raising, advocacy and fundraising activity that helps grassroots organisations provide refugee legal aid and mental health support.

The Aberdeen University team offers a range of roles across Regional Teams, a Central Team that coordinates between teams, and a Leadership Team that provides oversight and strategy. Typical activities include organising events, running campaigns, managing social media, and supporting fundraising efforts such as quizzes, music nights and sponsored challenges.

The opportunity is designed for students and young people, with some roles also open to recent graduates. It is flexible, with options that vary in time commitment and include both in-person and remote involvement.

Volunteers can also gain practical experience in areas such as event management, communications, fundraising, finance, leadership and advocacy.
