Solent Insight Series: Application Horrors - Don’t Let UCAS Haunt You

The Solent Insight Series: Application Horrors - Don’t Let UCAS Haunt You is a virtual webinar for prospective students who want practical support with university applications. It takes a Halloween-themed approach to easing UCAS worries, making the application process feel more manageable and less intimidating.

The session guides attendees through the key stages of applying to university, including choosing a course and university, completing a UCAS application, writing a strong personal statement and understanding important deadlines. It also shares useful tips, common mistakes to avoid and advice to help students feel more confident as they prepare for the next step after school or college.

Parents, carers, teachers and advisers are also welcome, so it can be useful for anyone supporting a young person through the transition to university. The event is designed to offer reassurance, encouragement and straightforward guidance for students who are just starting their application journey as well as those who are already working on it.
