Southport & Birkdale Classical Association present a public lecture by Professor Ben Russell (Professor of the Archaeology of the Roman Empire at the University of Edinburgh) titled ‘Barbarians in Classical Archaeology’. The lecture is scheduled for Wednesday 15 April 2026 at King George V Sixth Form College, Southport.

Doors open at 6:15 PM local time for a 7:00 PM start. Attendees are warmly invited to join beforehand for refreshments, a popular second-hand book stall, and a raffle.
